Last updated: Spring 2026. The Adams Elementary PTA ("we," "us," or "PTA") is committed to protecting the privacy of the children and families who use this site.
1. What information we collect
When a parent or legal guardian registers a child for an after-school enrichment program, we collect: child's name, grade, and classroom teacher; parent/guardian name, email address, and phone number; emergency contact names and phone numbers; after-program dismissal plan; and any allergies, medical conditions, or medications relevant to program safety. We also collect a financial aid application if you choose to submit one.
2. Why we collect it and how we use it
Registration information is collected solely for: (a) enrolling your child in the selected program, (b) enabling the program provider to contact you about your child's participation, (c) ensuring your child's safety during program hours, and (d) facilitating authorized pickup and emergency response. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
3. How long we keep it
Registration records are retained through the end of the program season and deleted within 30 days of the last class. A scheduled purge also runs every July 1st. Financial aid applications are deleted at the same time.
4. COPPA notice (children's privacy)
This site collects information about children only from their parents or legal guardians, who must confirm they are 18 or older before submitting any registration. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party trackers that could profile minors.
5. Data deletion requests
You may request deletion of your family's registration data at any time by emailing pta@adamspta.org. PTA administrators can also delete individual registrations directly in the administration portal. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.
6. Data security
Registration data is stored in Google Firestore and is accessible only to authenticated PTA administrators and the specific program provider for your child's enrolled program. Unauthenticated users cannot read any registration or student data.
